“Revolution” is a new multi-departmental concept sale featuring masterworks of fine arts from the 18th and 19th centuries – paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures – that will bring to life the many ways in which the visual arts have documented, illustrated and contributed to the great revolutions – political, philosophical and aesthetic – that made the modern world. The 45-lot sale offered a distinguished and diverse selection of artists such as Boilly, Daumier, David, Géricault, Goya, Ingres, Turner and Vigeé Le Brun.
