Patrick Hayman 1915-1988 was an English artist who worked in a variety of media including painting, drawing and three-dimensional constructions as well as poetry. Although he only lived in Cornwall for a few years, he was closely associated with the St Ives School of painters and sculptors

John Francis Fleming was born in 1910 and grew up in New York City. He got his start in the book business when he was fifteen as a clerk for the renowned “Napoleon of Books,” A. S. W. Rosenbach. Rosenbach was Fleming’s patron and mentor. Fleming worked his way up in Rosenbach’s company, ascending from clerk to manager to vice president.
